Exporting to Braze
Beefree App is now RGE Studio!
The email design suite you already know and love just leveled up. We’re working hard to update our help center, but you still may see some references to the old product name.
This article applies to the Email builder in all plans.
Overview
Design your emails in RGE Studio, then export them to Braze for sending. The Braze connector lets you push an email from RGE Studio to Braze.
There are two ways to connect your Braze account:
- From Workspace Settings: connect before you start designing.
- From the Export options on your email.
Setting up a connector does not sync your designs with external services. If you update a design after exporting it, you must re-export to see the updates.
You can also follow the RGE Studio Academy tutorial for connecting Braze.
Connect Settings
Go to Settings > Connectors.

Click Connect for Braze.

Fill out the modal to set up the connector.

You can enter anything in the Account name field. Your API Key and Workspace URL are both in your Braze account.
- API Key — In your Braze account, go to Settings > API Keys. Find your key in the Identifier column. All Templates permissions must be enabled for the connector to work.

- Workspace URL — Copy this from your browser's address bar and paste it into RGE Studio.

Connect from Export
When your email is ready, click Export on the Email Details page. This option is also available from the actions menu.

Click on the Integrations icon for Braze. If you don't see it, click More to view all connectors.

In the Integrations screen, scroll or search for Braze. Click the icon and follow the steps to connect. If your account is already connected, you won't be asked again.
RGE Studio confirms when the export is complete. Your email will appear in your Braze account under Templates > Email Templates. Select HTML Editor and scroll to Saved HTML Templates to find it.

Exporting Existing Designs
RGE Studio recognizes when you export an email you've already pushed to Braze. To update the existing version, use Update existing. This will overwrite the current version in Braze.
To export a new copy instead, use Create as new.

Multiple Workspaces
The Enterprise plan lets you create separate workspaces for different brands or clients. Each workspace can have its own Braze connector. You don't need to switch accounts between clients.
For example, if you manage 10 Braze clients, create one workspace per client. Connect each workspace to that client's Braze account.
