Exporting to Constant Contact

Level Up your Emails in Constant Contact
You can easily design your emails in the RGE Studio builder and then push them to Constant Contact for sending. Our connector allows you to export an email to Constant Contact with only one click.
Here are 2 ways that you can connect your Constant Contact account in RGE Studio:
- From the Workspace Settings section: connect your Constant Contact account before you start designing.
- From the Export options of your email.

1. Connect from Workspace Settings
Go to Settings > Connectors.

Click the Connect button for Constant Contact.

Fill out the information in the modal to begin setting up the connector. After you provide this data and click Connect, a popup window will open. Sign into your Constant Contact account to complete the connector setup. Please note that your Constant Contact credentials are not stored in RGE Studio. They are just used to connect your accounts.

2. Connect from Export
When your email is ready, click on the Export button on the Email Details page. This option is also available from the actions menu for your email.

Click on the Integrations icon for Constant Contact. If you don’t see it from this screen, click More to see all the connectors.

In the Integrations screen, scroll or search for Constant Contact. Click on the icon and follow the steps to connect your accounts. If you have already connected, you will not be asked to do so again.

The export process will always ask you to select from one of the Verified Emails from your Constant Contact account. This determines the "sender/reply email" of your Campaign. Once you open your design in Constant Contact, you can change this information at that time.

RGE Studio will confirm that the design has been successfully exported, then you're all set!
Are you using a Constant Contact Partner account? If so, you must be logged into your Primary account to use the connector. If you are logged into a Client account when you connect or export, you will receive a server error.
After exporting, you can copy the design from your Primary account to your Client account.
Exporting Existing Designs
RGE Studio will recognize if you are exporting an Email that you've already pushed to Constant Contact. You can update the existing version in Constant Contact using the Update existing option. This export option will overwrite the existing version. If you want to export a new version of your email instead, use Create as new.

Multiple Workspaces / Customers
Do you have different workspaces and need to easily manage all your emails and templates?
No problem! The Enterprise Version of RGE Studio allows you to set up different workspaces so you can better organize your email creation workflow. Enterprise allows you to specify different connectors for each workspace so you never need to switch accounts.
For example, say you are a digital marketing agency with 10 clients that use Constant Contact. With Enterprise, you will be able to create 10 workspaces in RGE Studio and connect each of them to their specific Constant Contact account.
