Exporting Pages to Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot)

Overview

Export pages from RGE Studio directly to Account Engagement (Pardot). Each exported page is saved as a landing page in Account Engagement.

Prerequisites

Before you start, you need:

• Role Type: Any role except Viewer.
• Account Engagement (Pardot) connection to RGE Studio: See Exporting Emails to Account Engagement (Pardot) for steps to connect.

How to Use

To export a page to Account Engagement, follow these steps:

1. Log in to RGE Studio.
2. Open the page you want to export.
3. Click Export at the top right of the screen.
4. Click the Account Engagement (Pardot) icon under Integrations.
5. Complete the required fields in the modal.
6. Click Create to confirm the export.

The modal has the same fields as email exports. The drop-down menus show the options available in your Account Engagement account.

• Campaign Name: Select the campaign to associate with the page. The drop-down list shows only Current and Planned campaigns.
• Folder: Choose the folder to organize your exported pages. The list shows all Account Engagement folders, including uncategorized (default) folders.
• Tracker Domain: Set the tracker domain for asset links. The default is the primary tracker domain (go.pardot.com). You can use any validated tracker domain instead. If you skip it here, set it in Account Engagement: open the asset, select a tracker domain from the drop-down menu, and save the asset. Only Administrators and users with the Marketing role can edit or add marketing assets.

Exported Details

RGE Studio exports page details along with your page. The sections below describe what RGE Studio does and does not export.

Tracking Codes and Custom Scripts

RGE Studio places your Google Analytics and Meta Pixel tracking codes immediately after the <head> tag in each page's header. Custom scripts go at the end of the HTML page. For more information, see Using Metadata and Analytics in Pages.

Images

Images are not exported to Account Engagement (Pardot).

Important Considerations

Export Behavior

• Page Location: RGE Studio saves the exported page in Content > Landing Pages in Account Engagement. Use the link in RGE Studio to open your account and view the landing page details.
• Naming Convention: RGE Studio names exported pages {page_name}-timestamp. This keeps names unique when you export the same page more than once.
• Update Option: Each export creates a separate page in Account Engagement. The Update existing option is not available for pages.

Editing & Compatibility

• Editable Details: After you export a page, you can edit details such as these in Account Engagement:
  • Name
  • Title
  • Meta description
  • Campaign
  • Tracker domain
• Page Compatibility: Some content block types may not be supported in the export. Check compatibility before you export.

Limitations & Errors

• Content Limit: Account Engagement limits the content size of landing pages. Exceeding this limit results in an error. If you reach the landing page limit in Account Engagement, RGE Studio shows the error in the app.
