My forwarded email does not work - how to avoid this behavior
Beefree App is now RGE Studio!
The email design suite you already know and love just leveled up. We’re working hard to update our help center, but you still may see some references to the old product name.
Overview
When a recipient forwards an email, their email client may modify the source code. This can include stripping HTML elements, adding blockquotes, or inserting extra code. These changes can break the layout for whoever receives the forwarded email.
Email forwarding changes are difficult to prevent entirely. However, there are steps you can take to reduce these issues.

Prevent forwarding issues
- Keep your email design simple. Simpler layouts, like single columns, tend to hold up better when forwarded. This does not work for every case, but it reduces the risk.
- Some ESPs offer a forward to a friend feature. Use it to add a forward link or button to your email. For example, here's how it works in Mailchimp.
- Include a View in browser link. Encourage your audience to share that instead of forwarding.
