Workspace Settings
Beefree App is now RGE Studio!
The email design suite you already know and love just leveled up. We’re working hard to update our help center, but you still may see some references to the old product name.
All RGE Studio accounts include at least one workspace. The Starter plan includes a limited single workspace, and the Professional plan includes a single full workspace. Business and Enterprise plans allow for the use of multiple workspaces.
Workspaces allow you to manage your design process with even more flexibility. Each workspace has its own settings, styles, templates, and user permissions.
We have a couple of different guides available:
- Navigating RGE Studio
- Workspace settings (you're here!)
- Managing Designs
- Building Content in RGE Studio
- Professional, Business & Enterprise
- Glossary
This quick start guide focuses on the settings available for all RGE Studio workspaces. Some features may appear differently across plans. Please note that only the account Owners, Admins, and Managers can access the account settings. Other user roles do not have access to this section.
Not a big reader? No problem! Check out the RGE Studio Academy video on using workspaces.
Settings

This is where you can find all your RGE Studio account settings. Similar to the Library tab, your Settings are specific to the workspace you select.
For most types of RGE Studio accounts, there are three tabs within the Settings area (though our Enterprise plan includes a fourth option for Webhooks). Each tab focuses on different types of settings. However, some settings may be unavailable in your plan. Inside the platform, you might see this icon to indicate that a specific feature is only available on a higher plan:

In other cases, you might not see a setting if it’s unavailable to you. We discuss premium settings in our Professional, Business & Enterprise Quick Start Guide.
General Settings
In all RGE Studio plans, the General Settings page is where you can locate the subdomain assigned to your account/workspace. You can also use this page to see a full list of merge tags and special links available in your account.
The General Settings area includes several options. If you’re using a Starter plan, you can’t change all of the options listed on the page, but they may be useful for reference. We’ve included a chart below that outlines which plans include which features.

Styles

The styles tab allows you to set standard settings for working inside the builder.
Styles
Sometimes we refer to this as a workspace palette. This section allows you to set standards for colors and commonly used content blocks. You can also import styles from a website using Get brand styles.
We’ve included another chart for easy reference.

All plans allow you to create a custom color palette for your workspace. Your palette will be available within any color picker in the RGE Studio builder. For more information, please see Custom Workspace Styles.
Fonts
The fonts area allows you to determine which fonts are available within the builder. There are three sections of fonts available:
- Custom fonts This section allows you to import hosted web fonts to RGE Studio. It’s only available for paid subscribers.
- Default fonts These are the original fonts that we uploaded to RGE Studio. They are commonly used by RGE Studio template designers. These fonts are available to all customers.
- Web fonts This is a selection of web fonts we’ve pre-loaded into the RGE Studio builder for you to use. These fonts are available to all customers.
Default and web fonts can be disabled or enabled in this section. This allows you more control over the typography used in your designs. You can find more information about fonts in RGE Studio in the following articles:
Connectors

On the RGE Studio website, you can find a full list of all the connectors available in RGE Studio. You can use this section in the settings to connect your RGE Studio account with your preferred sending platform. You can find more information on connectors in Using connectors in RGE Studio. You can also set up a custom connector.
